Subject: CVE-2024-35837: net: mvpp2: clear BM pool before initialization

Description
===========

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

net: mvpp2: clear BM pool before initialization

Register value persist after booting the kernel using
kexec which results in kernel panic. Thus clear the
BM pool registers before initialisation to fix the issue.

The Linux kernel CVE team has assigned CVE-2024-35837 to this issue.

Mitigation
==========

The Linux kernel CVE team recommends that you update to the latest
stable kernel version for this, and many other bugfixes.  Individual

release.  Cherry-picking individual commits is not recommended or
supported by the Linux kernel community at all.  If however, updating to
